Spicy Cream Of Spinach Boacon Cheese Burger
Ingredients
- ingredients for spicy spinach
- 2 Tablespoon unsalted butter
- 8 ozs of fresh spinach
- 1/2 10 pkg frozen spinach (squeeze liquid out)
- 1 Tablespoon finely chopped garlc
- 1/4 c small chopped red onion
- 1/4 c heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 Teaspoon kosher sea salt
- 1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 whole dried chilies
- ingredients for beef patty
- 1/2 10 oz pkg frozen spinach chopped small
- 1 Teaspoon dried ground onion
- 1 Teaspoon dried ground garlic
- 1 Teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 Teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 c heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 c grated parmeigiano reggiano
- 1 1/2 Pounds ground chuck 80/20
- other ingredients
- 6 Teaspoon mayo
- 6 deli sliced white american cheese
- 6 slices of thick applewood bacon fried just crisp
- 6 burger style potaoe rolls
Instructions
- Directions for burger patties
- Take thawed spinach and squeeze excess water out and chop small.
- In a large bowl, add chopped spinach, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, heavy whipping cream and parmesan cheese.
- Mix ingrediants together. Now add burger and incorporate mixture.
- Divide burger mixture into 6 patties about 5 ozs each, cover and set aside.
- Directions for spicy creamed spinach
- In a large cast iron frying pan or lg grill compatibale frying
- pan, melt butter over medium high heat.
- Once butter is melter, add onions and cook for 2 minutes stiring constantley.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Then add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
- Add frozen spinach, salt, pepper, heavy whipping cream and parmesian cheese.
- Add 2 chili peppers
- breaking them in half and cook for 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Cook bacon in frying pan and place on papertowl to drain.
- Cook
- burger patty,
- Place a small dimple in center and place on grill cooking over mediuim high heat until it reaches internal temp of 160 degrees about, 4 minutes of each side.
- During last minute of cooking place cheese on burger and cover and let melt then remove from heat set aside.
- Place 6 potatoe burger buns on grill sliced side down and lightly toast, about 1 to 1 1/2 minute
- Build your burger
- Place 1 Teaspoon mayo on bottom bun, divide red raw onion into 6 portions and place on bottom bun,
- Place burger on top on onions, cheese side up, break bacon in half and place on cheese.
- Divide spinach mixture into 6 portions allowing excess liquid to drain off.
- Then place on cut side of top bun.
- Take top bun place on top of burger. Enjoy your burger with a glass of Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon.
