spicy ginger sesame burger
Ingredients
2 T. toasted sesame seeds
1 T. toasted sesame oil
2 T. tamari (soy sauce)
1 T. mirin
4 T. thinly sliced scallions (white and green parts)
1.5 T. ginger- freshly peeled and grated
5 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tsp. natural ground, salted peanut butter
1tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cayenne
2 Tbs. wasabi powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
Toppings
cucumber thinly sliced
avocado thinly spread
wasabi mayonnaise
thinly sliced raw red onion
On toasted sesame seed buns
Instructions
Mix all ingredients (except ground beef and bread crumbs) together in a bowl. Add ground beef and mix lightly with hands. Add bread crumbs and mix lightly with hands. Do not over work. Make into 4 patties. Refridgerate for half an hour. Grill them up, and top with toppings.
