Spicy Pineapple Burger

Ingredients

  • – 6 King’s Hawaiian Burger Buns
  • – 1 Cup King’s Hawaiian Sweet Pineapple BBQ Sauce
  • – 1.5 Lb. Lean Ground Beef
  • – 3 Cups Shredded Green Cabbage
  • – 2 Large Carrots – julienned
  • – 1/4 Cup Chopped Red Onion
  • – 1 Jalapeno, chopped (Remove seeds for less heat)
  • – 2 Cups Fresh Pineapple, Diced
  • – 1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
  • – 1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • – 1/4 Cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • – 1/4 Teaspoon. of Salt
  • – 1/3 Teaspoon. of Pepper
  • – Sutter Homes White Zinfandel Wine

Instructions

  • n a medium bowl; mix together cabbage, carrots, onion, jalapeno, pineapple, lime juice, olive oil, cilantro and salt & pepper.
  • Let stand for 15-30 minutes
  • Pre-Heat Grill
  • In a medium bowl, add ground beef and Hawaiian BBQ Sauce, mix together.
  • Portion out 4 burger patties, and place on the grill (about 4 minutes each side)
  • Once burgers are cooked add 1 burger patty to a burger bun and top with the Pineapple Slaw.
  • Pour a glass of Sutter Homes White Zinfandel and enjoy!
