spicy salsa burger

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.


1.5 lbs ground beef
1 c Picante medium salsa
1 pkg  onion soup mix
1 egg
1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp Bold and Spicy
1 tbsp Hot sauce
1 tbsp creole seasoning
1 tsp black pepper
6 slices white cheddar cheese
6 lettuce leaves
6 slices tomato
6 slices onion
6 sourdough hamburger rolls toasted
butter for rolls



In a large bowl, combine by hand, ground beef, salsa, onion soup mix, worcestershire sauce, Bold and Spicy, hot sauce, creole seasoning and black pepper. Mix well. Make 6 patties. Grill on a low heat for 15-20 on each side. Place slices of cheese on patties 3 minutes before pulling patties off grill. Place buttered sourdough rolls on grill to toast. Place cooked patties on toasted rolls. Garnish with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices.
