Spinach/Mozarella Burgers

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef ( 80/20 )
5 ounces of fresh baby spinach leaves
1 1/2 cup of grated mozarella cheese
2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1 egg ( optional )
Leaf lettuce
Purple onion
Fresh Hamburger Buns.( fresh is key)
One bottle of your favorite SutterHome red wine.



Chop spinach leaves into small strips.Mix all the ingredients (except for condiments ha. ha. ) in a large bowl. Press by hand 4 equal size patties or 3 equal size patties and one extra large patty for yourself if you are the cook. Cook patties on grill at med to Hi heat until thourghly cooked. ( about 10 to 15 minutes depending on your grill) Butter buns and lighly grill for about 2 minutes. Place the patty on the bun and top with lettuce, tomato, purple onion, and avocado. Fill wine glass with wine and sit back and enjoy one of the finest meals you will ever have in a back yard.
