Strawberry blue cheese burger

Pairs well with:

Merlot

Get cozy and get pouring. Our Merlot is the wine for long weekends and lengthy chats.

I came up with this idea from salad that I had in one of local restaurants. so this can be good local American burger since most people here are from some where else.

For Strawberry sauce
2 cups strawberries pureed
1 tablespoon juice of lemon
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2-3 teaspoons suger
(depend on how sweet strawberries are)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 pounds beef sirloin
1/2 a small onion chopped
1 tablespoon garlic minced
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon flat-leaf parsley chopped
4 slice of turkey bacon cooked & chopped(or you can buy store box bacon bits)

2 tablespoons bread crumbs
canola oil for brushing a grill & burgers

6 kaiser rolls

*Johnny’s seasoning is from Washington state. My husband is from there & his family use it for just about everything. It is really good but it is hard to find here in Vegas.
