Sumptious Stuffed Pork Burgers


2 pounds lean ground pork
1 cup freshly sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced very fine
2 Tbs. Sutter Home Merlot
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp extra virgin olive oil



In a skillet add olive oil, mushrooms, green onion, wine and garlic. Saute lightly for 3 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool. In a bowl, combine ground pork, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

Form into 16 patties. Scoop mushroom mixture onto half of the patties, and cover with the remaining patties. Seal edges well. Grill on medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side.
