Super Tasty Chile Burger

Ingredients

1 lb ribeye steak
2 tsp kosher salt
1.5 tsp black pepper
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tbs fresh garlic
1/4 c Sauvignon Blanc
4 fresh long green chiles
3 large seeded burger buns
.5 lb cooked smoked bacon strips
2 roma tomatoes
3 leaves green leafy lettuce
3 slices aged cheddar cheese
3 tbs mayo
3 tbs ground mustard

 

Instructions

1. Grind the steak in a food processer to a fine grind. 2. Add the salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, wine and 1 chile pepper and grtind until combined. 3. Form meat mixture into 3 patties. 4. Roast the other 3 chiles over a flame and then skin them. 5. Cook the meat patties until the meat is medium. 6. Toast the buns over the grill and then start assembling the burgers. 7. Layer the burgers in the following order, bottom bun, mustard, lettuce, meat, roasted chile, tomato, bacon, cheese, mayo and top bun.
