Surf And Turf Dream Burger With Grilled Asparagus, Fried Green Tomatoes And Sutter Home Wine
Ingredients
- Burger
- 2 Pounds ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 Cup gorgonzola crumble cheese
- 1teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Shrimp
- 1/2 pound of raw shrimp
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon Seafood seasoning
- 2 Garlic Cloves (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Dipping Sauce for Burger
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seed Oil
- 3 tablespoons of finely chopped Cilantro
- 1 1/2 Cup of Worcestershire Sauce
- Garnish
- 1 large Tomato
- Romaine Lettuce
- Sliced red onion
Instructions
- Burger
- 1. Mix the patty ingredients and then gently form six patties of equal size, each about 3/4 inch thick.
- Make a shallow indentation about 1 inch wide in the center of the patties to prevent them from forming a dome as they are cooking.
- Refrigerate the patties until ready to grill.
- 2. Prepare grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat.
- (400-450 degrees)
- Place the patties on the grill grate, and cook for about 5 minutes (medium), 6 minutes (medium well), and 7 minutes (well)
- Shrimp
- Season shrimp with
- Seafood seasoning, butter,
- cloves, salt, and pepper.
- Grill for 8-10 or until fully cooked.
- Dipping Sauce for sauce
- Mix ingredients in a small bowl.
- Use this sauce to dip your uncooked patty before grilling.
- Garnish
- Put hamburger on bottom bun.
- Put lettuce leaves, red onions, tomatoes and shrimp as desired, close sandwich and serve.
