Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1lb of ground chuck
1/4 cup of beer (personal preference)
5 teaspoons texas pete
5 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves
1 diced onion
1 teaspoon of salt and fresh ground pepper
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon red pepper
1 cup of pepper jack cheese



Dice onion and finely chop garic. Combine all ingredient together, besides the cheese. form into patty, then grate the pepperjack cheese. Place about a tablespoon on cheese onto each burger in the center. Push the cheese into the meat, and form the patty around it. Then cook on a grill for 10 minutes until thooughly cooked through. Once cooked place onto a toasted bun, and top with favorite condiments.
