sutter & stuff burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


for sauce:
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 T dark brown sugar
2 T Sutter Sauvignon
for burger:
1 1/2 lb. beef chuck ground
garlic salt
for skillet or to brush on burger if using the grill:
1/4 cup colavita olive oil



Mix sauce in a measuring cup and set aside. Make 5-7 meat balls with the chuck. Lightly sprinkle with garlic salt. Make an opening in one end only with a spoon and insert 2 T of sauce. Before you place in the skillet, be sure to cover hole with some meat and flatten to burger shape. Place in olive oil in the skillet or brush with olive oil and place on the grill.
