1 1/2 lbs. good quality ground round steak
3 tabl. chopped fresh parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. Grey Poupon mustard
4 large Portobello mushrooms
Colavita olive oil
2 small loaves Focaccia Asiago bread
2 tabl. chopped green onions
1 cup Sutter Home Merlot wine
1/4 cup canned beef broth
1 tabl. softened butter
2 teas. all purpose flour
lettuce leaf
tomato slice



Clean four large Portobello mushrooms- brush with Colavita olive oil- place on grill and cook over medium heat 15 minutes -turning occasionally- brushing with oil when turning- when done placeon top rack of grill along with Focaccia bread' Slice two small loaves of Focaccia Asiago bread horizontally – then in thirds- making 6 sandwiches- butter both sides- place on top rack of grill to brown slightly- Sauce: Brown 2 tabl. chopped green onion in teas. Colavita olive oil in medium saucepan on side burner of grill.Stir in 1 cup Sutter Home Merlot wine, 1/4 cup canned beef broth. Cook over medium heat until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. combine 1 tabl. softened butter and 2 teas. all purpose flour. Whisk into sauce. Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt and freshly ground pepper. Combine til well blended. keep warm Place hamburger patties on grill. cook approximately 15 minutes until no longer pink in middle and juices show no pink color– turning once Place burgers on focaccia bread top with portobello mushrooms which have been sliced into strips– drizzle with sauce- top with lettuce leaf and sliced tomato if desired- top with bread Enjoy
