Sweet & Tangy Burger With Onion Strings
Ingredients
1 lb. Ground Sirloin
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
1/2 15oz Can Tomato Sauce
3 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
1 Large Sweet Onion
1/4 C. Ranch Dressing
1/2 C. Whole Milk
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 C. Flour
Salt
Pepper
Asiago Cheese
Ciabatta Rolls
Provolone Cheese, medium sliced
Oil for Grilling
Instructions
Preheat Grill & Preheat Frying Oil to 375 1. Mix together the ground beef with 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper, and set aside 2. On stovetop, combine 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, tomato sauce, and vinegar. Heat over medium until all ingredients combine to form a sweet and tangy sauce. 3. Mix together ranch dressing, milk, & hot sauce & set aside 4. Mix together flour, salt, & Pepper & put in a plastic bag. 5. Thinly slice onion & dredge in ranch mixture, then set aside. 6. Form hamburger into patties and place on grill and cook to a perfect medium 7. Remove onions from ranch mixture and put in plastic bag with flour mixture. Shake until well coated with flour. 8. Fry the onions in the frying oil until golden brown 9. Slice ciabatta roll and toast on the grill, then spread tomato sauce mixture on each side of the roll 10. Place provolone cheese on burgers until melted. 11. Place burgers on toasted rolls 12. Top burger with additional sauce & onion strings. 13. Eat and enjoy!
