Taco Burger

2 Pounds Lean Ground Beef
1/2 Pound Hot Ground Pork Sausage
1 Package Taco Seasoning
Mix 1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 Can Rotel (without juice)
6 slices of American or Swiss Cheese
6 Regular size Taco Shells
shredded Lettuce
cooking spray



Spray grill with pam cooking spray, so burger will not stick Mix together hamburger, pork sausage, and taco seasoning mix, and garlic. Form into hamburger patties, and grill. Cook meat to following specifications. 1/2 – 3/4 in. thick Direct High 3-4 min./side 160 F (70 C) Serve using package taco shells. Warm the taco shells on grill. Take taco shells out of package, leaving inside each other. Wrap in foil, and place on grill to warm. Right before burgers are done, place cheese on top of burger to melt. Once Burgers are done, and taco shells are warm… place burger inside taco shell. Top with shredded lettuce and Rotel.
