Taco Burger with Spicy Corn and Olive Salsa

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. (1-1/4oz.) Taco Seasoning Mix
1 cup medium Salsa
1/2 cup Corn Niblets
1/2 cup sliced black pitted olives
6 pita breads
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
2 cups diced tomatoes
1 8oz. bag of shredded four cheese mix

 

Instructions

Mix together ground beef and taco seasoning mix. Shape into 6 patties and grill 6-8 minutes on each side until cooked through. Mix together salsa, corn and olives. Lightly toast pita bread on both sides. Cut 1/3 of the pita off and open pocket – fill pitas as follows: put in hamburger,add 1/3 cup shredded lettuce, 1/3 diced tomatoes, tablespoon of cheese and top with 2 tablesoons of corn and olive salsa and serve.
