Taco Loco Burger

Ingredients

3 lbs. ground beef (85% lean)
1 cup taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup store bought guacamole
1/2 chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped roma tomatoes
Oil Spray (for grill)
6 large hamburger buns (preferably freshly baked from grocer)
1/2 stick softened butter
3/4 cup store bought refried beans
6 tbs. sour cream
3 tbs. chopped cilantro
1 jalapeno, sliced thin
3 romaine leaves, shredded

Instructions

Combine the beef, taco seasoning and water in a bowl until completely incorporated. Make 6, 1/2 lb. pattys and refridgerate while preparing other ingredients. Combine the guacamole, red onion and tomatoes. Turn grill to medium/high, and let it heat for about 5-10 minutes. Spray the grill with oil spray to prevent burgers from sticking. Place the pattys on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side over direct heat. Butter both top and bottom buns and grill until light brown. When burgers are done, place 2 tbs. refried beans on bottom bun, and 1 tbs. sour cream, then place patty on top. Top the patty with 2 tbs. guacamole mixture, 1/2 tbs. cilantro, a few jalapeno slices, and some shredded lettuce. Top with bun and enjoy!
