Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Pounds. 80% ground beef
- 1 Tablespoon. terriyaki sauce
- 2 Teaspoon. sesame oil
- 3-4 chopped scallions
- 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup flour
- 1/2-2/3 Cups seltzer
- 1/2 Teaspoon. baking powder
- 4 Tablespoon. additional flour
- 1 avacado
- 1 tomato
- 1 Tablespoon. vegetable oil
- oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Saute chopped scallions in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, terriyaki sauce, sesame oil, scallions and breadcrumbs. Form into patties.
- Make tempura batter with the flour, seltzer and baking powder.
- Dredge burgers in flour and then tempura batter.
- Deep fry in oil until desired doneness is reached.
- Put burger on the brioche bun and top with a slice of avacado, a slice of tomato and a splash of terriyaki sauce.
