This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


2 lbs 85-15% lean ground beef,
1/2 chopped onion,
3 T bottled mesquite flavoried marinade,
2 garlic cloves minced,
2 jalapeno peppers seeded & chopped,
1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper.



Mix beef with marinade, onion, garlic & jalapeno peppers in a large bowl. Make 4 – 1 1/4" patties. Cook meat over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side. Grill buns split buttered-side down until brown. Plate buns, top with cooked burger adding lettuce, mustard, tomato, fresh ground pepper and bun top.
