Thanksgiving Day on a Bun

Reach for our Chardonnay when you’re in the mood for a rich and creamy wine that delights with the fruity flair of pear, apple, and peach.


1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
1 1/2 cups cornbread stuffing mix
2 eggs
2 T. pesto (from a jar)
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
2 T. cinnamon sugar
Spray on oil for grill
6 Toasted Whole Wheat buns
1 cup chopped "Craisins"
1 T red pepper flakes
3/4 cup good mayonnaise
1 t salt



1. Combine turkey, stuffing mix, eggs and pesto in a bowl. Form into six patties. 2. Combine pecans and cinnamon sugar in separate,shallow bowl. 3. Roll patties in pecan mixture.Press pecans into burgers slightly. 4. Preheat grill to medium high and coat with oil. 5. Grill patties on medium high heat for 5 minutes on one side, flip and then 3-5 minutes on the other side. 6. Toast the Buns while the burgers are grilling. 7. Combine craisins, Pepper flakes, mayonnaise and salt in a small bowl. Put approx. 1 T. of mixture on each side of bun. 8.Assemble the burger and give yourself a round of applause. You have just made the tastes of Thanksgiving in about half and hour. Enjoy!
