The Better Turkey Burger

Hard to pronounce yet easy to drink, this wine combines lychee fruit and white peach flavors with a hint of spice.

Ingredients

2 Lbs lean ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
6 slices of canned pineapple
6 whole grain hamburger buns

 

Instructions

In medium bowl, combine the ground turkey, with green onion, bread crumbs, hoisin sauce, fresh ginger, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and Tabasco. Gently mix all ingredients and shape into six balls. Press each ball on plate into patties.

Grill patties on direct medium heat on grill for 10 minutes turning once after five minutes. During the last five minutes place, pineapple slices on grill, turning once. Place hamburger buns on grill until toasted, about 30 seconds. Build burgers on the buns with the pineapple slices. Serve warm with ketchup, and or mustard, if desired.
