2 lbs ground beef
1/4 lb of mild pork sausage ground
1 whole onion diced
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 egg
1 cup of bread crumbs unseasoned
1 small green pepper diced
1 green tomato (sliced)
1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
seeded wheat buns toasted



In a large bowl mix ground beef with ground sausage , then add diced onions and egg. Mix slightly. Then add 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder, breadcrumbs, and diced green peppers. Mix well and form thick patties. (1 and 1/2 inches thick by 5 inches accross) After preheating your barbeque, place the burgers on and be sure not to turn them too fast. turn twice and when juices run clear they are done. Then place buns open on grill for no more than 1 minute on each side. place burger on bun and add green tomatoe and blue cheese dressing. top with a few pieces of leftover bacon if you like or lettuce. ENJOY!!!
