Ingredients

Toppings:
12 slices Canadian bacon
12 slices American cheese
6 fried eggs cooked over-easy
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Patties:
1 pound ground beef
½ pound ground pork breakfast sausage
8 slices bacon, crisp cooked, drained, chopped in food processor
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoons Sutter Home Chardonnay
Season Salt
Vegetable oil for brushing on grill rack
6 large English Muffins
6 Tablespoons butter

Instructions

Directions Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make the patties, combine the beef, ground breakfast sausage, chopped bacon, salt, pepper and Sutter Home Chardonnay. Mix all ingredients together. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form the portions into patties to fit the English Muffins. Sprinkle patties with Seasoning Salt. Keep burgers warm until toppings are prepared. Brush the grill rack with oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and grill until browned on the bottoms, 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the patties and continue grilling until done to preference, about 5 minutes longer for medium. During the last few minutes of cooking, butter the English muffins and place them cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast. Keep your burgers warm until you have prepared your toppings. To make the toppings, grill the Canadian bacon until warm through, not over cooked. Keep warm until you are ready to build your burger. Cook your over easy eggs in a grill skillet. Once the eggs are cooked you may build your burgers. To assemble the burgers, place the Canadian bacon and one slice of cheese on the bottom muffin. Next, place burger on cheese. Top the burger again with one piece of Canadian bacon, one slice of cheese and top the entire burger off with one fried egg. Place the top muffin on and it is ready to serve.
