The Chip and Dip Burger

Ingredients

Burger:
2 lbs of lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon pepper (or as desired)
1 cup pretzels
1 cup potato chips
2 eggs
1 medium size white onion-diced
Topping:
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 medium size white onion-diced
1 tsp dry mustard
1/4 cup white vinegar
Servings:
5-6 large size burgers

 

Instructions

1. 1 cup pretzels. Prepare pretzels for use as breadcrumbs by placing in a baggie and crushing with a rolling pin (or crush in food processor) 2.1 cup potato chips. Prepare potato chips for use as breadcrumbs by placing in a baggie and crushing with a rolling pin (or crush in food processor) 3. Dice one white onion. 4. In large bowl, mix lean ground beef, pepper, eggs, diced onion, potato chip and pretzel crumbs. 5. Mix well by hand. 6. Shape and prepare patties for grilling. Store in refrigerator. 7. Prepare topping in separate bowl: Combine all ingredients, mix well for smooth consistency. Cover and refrigerate until burgers are served. 8. Cook burgers on grill. 9. Serve the Chip and Dip Burger with sides of chips and pretzels. 9. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce and tomato slice and dollop of the topping. 10. Serve chips and pretzels on the side to complete the plate
