The Georgian Sutter Home Burger

1# ground chuck
1 Tablespoon Sutter Home Merlot Wine
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 reaspoon seanoning salt
1 Tablespoon Vidalia onion steak sauce
1 small vidalia onion
4-5 carmelized pecans per burger
2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon Colavito olive oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2-4 slices Havarti cheese
1 teaspoon pepper jelly
2-4 deli hamburger buns



mix ground chuck with next 4 ingredients. Shape into 1/4 # or 1/2# burgers. Set aside. Meanwhile saute in pan- sliced vidalia onion using 1 Tablespon of butter and 1 Tablespoon of Colavita olive oil until onions are carmel in color. In another pan, carmelize pecans with Tablespoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, be careful not to burn. Grill burgers until desired doneness. Place burgers on your favorite deli hamburger bun. Place a slice of havarti cheese on each followed by carmelized onion, pecans, and pepper jelly. Enjoy!
