The Great Cab Burger

Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


1.5 lbs of ground chuck makes six burgers placed into bowl.
salt & pepper to your family’s taste, but easy don’t over do it.
two tablespoons of dried parsley.
1.75 oz of Cabernet wine.
1/3 teaspoon crushed cappers.
1.25 oz. Gorgonzola cheese.

Mix weill and shape into six burgers.



450 degree grill.
Place a small foil tray cup..make by folding foil into shape of tray. add 2 oz of Cabernet and 1 teaspoon of butter and allow to heat and blend – this is the finish, to be brushed on at end of grillilng burgers. when heated and blended remove from grill.
Place burger on grill until cooked to desired doneness and 30 seconds prior to removal, brush with Cab/butter finish blend.

Plate on bun and build out to your taste.
