Pairs well with:

Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients:

Patties
2 1/4 pounds fresh 76/24 ground Chuck
1/3 cup Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
2 tablespoons Canadian or Montreal Steak seasoning
6 large (burger size) slices precooked Canadian bacon
6 slices American cheese
Colavita Pure Olive oil for brushing the grill

6 sandwich size English Muffins, sliced burger style
3 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3 tablespoons honey Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons horseradish sauce
1 1/2 cups baby lettuce, washed and dried
1/4 cup creamy French dressing
A dash of salt or to your personal taste
A dash of fresh ground peppercorn or to your personal taste
6 large fresh ripe beef steak tomatoes

Instructions:

Preheat a gas grill to medium high.

In a large bowl gently blend together the ground Chuck, wine, steak seasoning, and form 6 patties slightly larger than the muffins. Brush the olive oil on the grill grates and add the patties to grill for 5-7 minutes on each side or to your personal doneness. When you turn the patties add the Canadian bacon to the grill. In 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes flip and add a cheese slice to each Canadian bacon slice. Remove with the patties.

Butter the insides of the muffins and place on the grill when you add the cheese to the Canadian bacon slice to toast to a light golden brown. Remove and spread the mustard on the muffin bottoms. Spread the horseradish sauce on the muffin top inside.

Toss the lettuce and dressing in a medium bowl. Lightly salt and pepper the tomato slices.

Place a grilled cheese Canadian bacon slice on the toasted muffin bottom; add burger patty next, then a tomato slice, and the salad. Cover with the muffin top and serve.
