Theresa’s Surprise Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1 Lb. Ground Sirloin
1 Package Onion Soup Mix
2 Tbsp. Worchestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Ketchup
1 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Cup Finely Crumbled Feta Cheese
1/2 Cup Finely Chopped (Thin) Deli Ham



Mix all first seven ingredients in a medium size bowl. Separate mixture into four or five burgers (depending on the size you like). Flatten burgers to twice the size you would like. Mix all cheese and ham together. Place 1 or 2 Tbsp. of cheese mixture in center of flattened burger. Fold over cheese from all four sides and form burger to the size desired, making sure all the cheese is sealed inside. Grill to desired doneness and serve on butter grilled buns with any toppings of choice.
