Ingredients

1/4 cup kalamata olives,(or you can use canned olives)
2 tbs. Sutter Home Chardonnay
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp minced garlic 2 tsp. oregano
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
a splash of fresh lemon juice salt and pepper to taste.
2 lbs lean ground lamb
1 small onion, grated
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

Chop the pitted olives and add in the mayonnaise, garlic, oregano and feta; process until a slightly lumpy consistancy. Add in lemon juice and black pepper to taste, then process again for a couple of seconds. Cover and set aside. The longer this topping sits the tastier it is! You can even prepare it the night before. Mix the ground lamb lightly with onion, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Shape into patties. Grill the patties over medium heat for about 8 minutes per side, until well-cooked through. Serve lamb burgers on toasted buns or rolls. Top with Greek topping.
