TURKEY PARMISIAN BURGER

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

Ingredients:

3 lbs ground turkey
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp Adobo seasoning
1/8 tsp pepper flakes
¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
2 bags shredded Italian cheese mixture
Left over spaghetti sauce
2 boxes Pepperage farm Texas garlic toast

Spaghetti sauce
1tsp salt
¾ tsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ cup minced onions
¼ cup minced peppers
2 ½ cups crushed tomatoes
10oz tomato paste

Instructions:

Combine ground turkey Italian seasoning adobo basil and pepper flakes in a bowl. Divide mixture in to 6 portions. Divide each portion in half; make separate patties out of both pieces. On 1 patty put a tbsp of spaghetti sauce and a tbsp of cheese. Place other patty on top and press edges securely so the inside doesn’t leak out, grill burgers. When you flip the burgers over start to grill bread, Keep an eye on the bread and take burgers off and let them rest. Just before taking bread off, put a tbsp spaghetti sauce and cheese on the top of all the slices ob bread. Take bread off put burger on the bottom, flip the other piece of bread over and place on top of burger.
