Ingredients

Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon tobasco sauce
Patties:
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon grill seasoning
Vegetable oil for brushing grill rack
6 slices pepperjack cheese
6 seeded rolls, split

 

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make the sauce, combine the mayonnaise, basil, salt, lemon juice and tobasco in small bowl. To make the patties, in large bowl combine the turkey, onions, red pepper, worcestershire, soy sauce and grill seasoning. Mix well and divide into 6 equal portions. Form mixture into patties to fit rolls. When the grill is ready, place the patties on the rack and cook, turning once approximately 5-6 minutes per side. During the last few minutes, place a slice of cheese on each pattie and close cover to melt the cheese. Remove patties from grill. Place rolls, cut side down on grill to lightly toast. To assemble the burgers, place a patty on each roll bottom and add the tops and serve.
