Ultimate Bacon Chipotle Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


2 pounds ground beef

12 pieces of cooked bacon

1 clove garlic, minced

½ medium green pepper chopped

1 onion, chopped

1 tsp salt

1 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

6 buttered and toasted Kaiser Rolls

6 lettuce leaves

6 slices tomato

6 slices havarti cheese




Preheat grill to medium.

In a bowl combine beef, garlic clove, green pepper and onions, and seasonings, being careful not to over mix. Form the hamburger mix into 6 patties.

Using a piece of aluminum foil to cover a portion of the grill, place pre cooked bacon strips side by side and grill until crisp. Set aside.

Grillburgers over medium-high heat, flipping once until desired doneness is reached, approximately 4 minutes each side for medium. Place a slice of cheese on each burger during last minute of grill time to melt cheese. Spread mayonnaise evenly over toasted buns. Top each with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, two slices of bacon and a cheeseburger. Cover with tops of buns.
