Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high heat. To make the gingered slaw, in a large bowl, combine the bag of 3 Color Deli Cole Slaw, bell pepper, and ¼ cup green onions. Mix the dressing by combining 1 t. of the grated ginger, sesame oil, vegetable oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and salt in a small bowl with a whisk. When the dressing is combined, pour over the slaw and toss to coat. Set aside. To make the wasabi mayonnaise, combine the mayonnaise and the wasabi horseradish in a small bowl with a whisk and keep cool. To make the hamburger patties, in a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, soy sauce, garlic, green onions, ginger, pepper, sesame oil, and salt. Mix ingredients until distributed throughout meat, trying not to overhandle. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form into patties that fit the size of the buns. When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with vegetable oil. Place the patties on the grill, cover and cook, turning once until done to preference: 5-7 minutes on each side for medium. Remove from the grill. Place the buns, cut side down, on the grill rack and toast lightly. To assemble the burgers, spread the toasted buns with Wasabi Mayonnaise. On each roll bottom, place one patty and a heaping portion of the slaw. Add the bun top and enjoy!
